The Marie has two wide velvet straps, each fastened with a covered button, above a softly gathered elastic neckline. The velvet falls loose to a wide satin hem band, with a satin-trimmed patch pocket at each side. Tucked inside a pocket, hidden from view, small compartments hold your brushes and pencils within easy reach.
Smoke: near-black velvet with slate grey satin.
Chocolate: deep brown velvet with matching brown satin.

Steam the velvet from the inside rather than ironing it, and cool iron the satin on the reverse if needed. Always follow the care label sewn into your dress.
